Red House Farm

Bed and Breakfast

Red House FarmThe farmhouse dates from the mid 1600s and consists of part of the old longhouse with the main section of the house being built in 1748. It is Grade II listed by English Heritage and it is featured in Houses of the North York Moors, a book published by the Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England.

We have owned the house since 1987 and have renovated it to a high standard while trying to maintain and enhance all the original features - stone flags, beamed ceilings, shutters and original woodwork are all in evidence.
The bedrooms of Red House Farm, while having a period feel, contain the necessities of modern living - adjustable central heating, en-suite bathrooms (bath over shower), tea making facilities, colour television and wi-fi.

B&B Red House Farm GlaisdaleGuests (adults and over 16s) have the use of the billiards room which also contains a TV, radio and a selection of books of walks and tours of the area.
They can use the many sitting out areas in the grounds and well-established gardens which extend to around 1½ acres.

Accommodation consists of two double and one family room, all en-suite. We also have a single room which, while having use of its own toilet and washbasin, must share a bathroom and is therefore only used for part of a family/friends group.
